The faculty and staff of Yangon Academy wore pink today to introduce students to PINKTOBER. Recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, people around the world wear pink to bring awareness, honor survivors, remember those lost, and support the progress in defeating this disease. Every year throughout the month of October, funds are raised to support detection, treatment, and research into developing a cure for breast cancer, the most common form of cancer in the world.
